FlashCaption started with a frustration.
I was watching a Japanese streamer play a Vietnamese game. The gameplay was incredible, but I couldn't understand a single word they were saying. The streamer's reactions, jokes, and commentary were all lost on me because of the language barrier.
That's when I realized: millions of people face this problem every day. Livestreams are global, but language remains a wall. I built FlashCaption to break that wall—not just for myself, but for anyone who wants to understand and connect with creators across languages.
The Mission
Solve real problems
FlashCaption wasn't built on a trend or a market analysis. It was built because I genuinely needed it. I believe the best products start with solving your own problems first.
Break language barriers
Language should never be a barrier to enjoying content. Whether you're watching gaming streams, tech conferences, or educational videos, you deserve to understand every word.
Keep it simple
No complex setups, no monthly subscriptions, no friction. Just install the extension and it works. With a pay-as-you-go model, you only pay for what you use. I believe software should be accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise.
From Hanoi to the world
If you ever visit Hanoi, don't hesitate to reach out—I'd love to grab a coffee and chat about tech, products, or anything in between.
